Q: Why Yoga?
A: Anyone can practise yoga. The yoga postures or asanas exercise every part of the body, stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. They not only work on the bodies frame but on the internal organs, glands and nerves as well, keeping all systems in radiant health.
At first glance yoga seems to be little more than a series of strange
physical postures, which keep the body lean and flexible. But in time, when
you continue with regular practice you become aware of subtle changes in
your approach to life. For through persistently toning and relaxing the body
and stilling the mind, you begin to glimpse a state of inner peace which is
your true nature.
Q: Can I eat before my class?
A: It's best not to eat at least 2 hours before
a class
Q: What shall I wear?
A: Loose comfortable clothing
Q: But I haven't got a yoga mat
A: Eco friendly yoga mats are provided for all classes
and are on sale
Q: I haven't done any yoga at all before and I'm
really stiff
A: Courses are designed for absolute beginners and
you will be surprised how quickly through regular practice the body
becomes more supple and flexible
Q: What if I cannot make it for the whole of the
six week course?
A: If you cannot make it due to social or work commitments
than don't worry you can play catch up during the course and maybe
attend class twice the following week
